Bond Rocks!
Now I don't know if I am going to enjoy it as much. I always enjoyed the "Bond cliches". I always found it cool that he never really got hurt, always got the girl, always had that pimp attitude about him. Without that, seems like it's just another spy action film and not a Bond film, no matter how good. I won't pass final judgement until I see it though.

Broccoli never made Casino Royale.
Anyway, looking forward to it. I might read the book first, as I think it has something to do with how Bond became a double-oh, etc.
I saw it last night. I'm with Bill. This was a very good, well constructed and entertaining movie. I grew up on Sean Connery et al. This guy is a very different Bond. If you are married to the stylish proper English dude of the old Bonds, you might be disappointed. This guy is more physical, more dangerous and less playful. Also, no special gizmos. The few parts of this movie that seemed a bit long, and there weren't many, are all there to set you up for stuff that happens later. In that sense, this was better constructed than any other movies I've seen recently.
Remeber, it's just a movie. Go in without preconceptions about who should be James Bond. Expect some good entertainment and you will not be disappointed.

So, I guess it was outside the Broccoli franchise? I don't know, this might be a Vintage moment, but I'd swear I'd seen the "original" (assuming there was one)....
