I have been off of work since Dec 22 aside from a few overtime shifts. At this point I am ready to eat my hat. I never thought I would be THIS anxious to get back to work. I am going to go do some K9 training tomorrow in Taunton to get the dog and I back into the swing of things before going back this Thursday night.

Any of you get so bored while on vacation that you look forward to getting back or am I just a nutjob work-a-holic?

I think Rudy mentioned 911 about 14 times so far, the last time in response to a question about the color of his tie.

Being self employed there IS no such thing as vacation ever - I would SOOOOO love to be bored and look forward to working again. I have purposely turned away work the last month because I knew the big move was coming. It IS strangely weird not putting in 50 hour weeks right now but I have so much else going on I am not bored

I do know what you mean though. This time of year with crap weather it's easy to get restless after a few days of not being on the same schedule, or being able to plan "fun" stuff, like top down drives....oh wait a minute, I forgot I was talking to Mr. Hardtop.

 

5 years ago i was out of work for almost a year.

first couple of months were real tough.
after that I started workin gout, skiing then golfing and things got easier.
about the time I finally started enjoying myself and got another job.
by then I hated to go back to work....

 

When I'm on vacations the only thing I miss about work is the people I work with.
