I didn't know thomas took the Passat on a high speed exit ramp - Jezz you would think he would get coilovers & an EDFC to soften the damping at the front so the car feels better coming out of the corner!

Natural causes. Old age, I guess.

I swear the adhesive VW used is only good for 7 years. My co-worker's Passat (also the 98 model). She is experiencing the same problem.

Thomas are you talking about the strips that go around the door?? (the part around your rear passanger's door) - why not just use super glue or gorilla glue - it's not like that strip has to be removed?

when you say headliner i think most folks think the part above your head

Oh, the strips are pretty close to my head. I thought they are part of the roof liner? Oops!

nope it's just trim - i would use something stronger - come by this weekend and we could use gorolla glue - they will never fall off again

or just pick some up at any hardware store
