I have to say, I would only put a tiny bit of faith into a CarFax report. I have run them on known vehicles that were in accidents, and the silly reports came back clean.

I bought a CarFax subscription a while back and was really surprised how incomplete the reports were on vehicles I owned and crashed (deer) as well as some of my other friends and their accidents.

Buyer beware...

Yea.....I know there can be some gaps in the car fax.....I'm not overly conderned with light accidents that show up. Luckly I've had experience in the car business and I feel very confident about finding repaired damage.

^ That's cool.

I did almost $5,000 damage on my old Nissan Hardbody thanks to a damn forest rodent (deer) and I was really surprised when that did not show up.

If you discovered the damage that was not reported on the carfax dont you have the provision to make the a claim against carfax? Granted you could prove the damage.
