CEMA is a place to receive weekly e-mails about auto shows, meets, cruises, races, etc. Members from about 15 different forums post up their events or send me e-mails and then I add them to the group and the Google calendar.
Every winter the group goes into hibernation and starts back up in the spring.

05.12.08 I started CEMA (at the time was Cruise Eastern MA) with 20 members and in the first 6 months we had 280+ members from New Jersey to Maine. The group name changed because we had members and events all over New England.
We now have 980+ members, 15 officers from different businesses and forums, and 2 admins.

I've put on my own events and help closely with the YuppieRacing events.

 

511 members as of today; that's a lot more members that I had hoped for.

I may have a couple sponsors soon - they'll pitch in to buy stickers and/or get police detail for our events

Damn, we've gotten 200 members in the last 5 days. Looking like its going to be a great year for events.

I'm working with YuppieRacing on more Cars & Coffee and hopefully more of the dinner meets I put together a couple summers ago.
