I haven't been a wrestling fan for several years, but I do remember him very well. To hear that he killed his wife and then himself was bad enough. But, to find out that he suffocated his 7yo son is just piss poor. I sincerely hope he rots in hell with a hot ember from the devil's own campfire up his ass.

It for reasons like this that I am finding it almost impossible to watch or read the news anymore. I have always been up on current events and enjoied reading the news. It is getting to the point that news is just too miserable to digest any more, let alone have to go to work and get another dosage of it there.

Wondering if I should just quit reading/watching???

WHOA???? I didn't know this. Man that sux. I don't watch the news anyway.

 

I am thinking that's the way to go. It will be hard to break the routine of news in the morning and other times.

They don't have much details yet, but they found roids in the home (big surprise). They are speculating that he may have done this in a fit of roid rage but who knows. Why would anyone hurt a kid?

 

they are questioning whether steroids had anything do with it.
I had a childhood friend who when he hit 20 suddenly grew massively. guess how?

a few years later he went bonkers. started running around the house with a gun because "they were there". cost him his marriage and house.

Really sad. Something was going on as he was removed last minute from an event this weekend due to 'personal issues' then this happened.
So many stories about wrestlers who die young or commit suicide, but this is off the charts horrible.
I always thought people who killed their own children had to be completely nuts, but since I now have my own I cant understand how anyone with a drop of sanity could harl their child, on top of that all these stories about babies found in a dumpster, left in a hot car, beaten etc... make me so sick to my stomach, I just dont read some stories now based on the headline.

 

The 5:30 - 6:00 news said he killed his wife on Friday, his son on Saturday and then hung himself on Sunday. They also reported the wife, at some time in the past, had gone to the police claiming domestic abuse and stating she feared for her life. Too bad she didn't leave him at that point in time. It's horrible his wife and son had to suffer because of him. People seem to be getting crazier by the minute lately.

I think you've got the right idea Jeff, especially where you have real on-the-job exposure to the insantiy! Turn off the news and go spend that extra time with your kids! There are days where they are probably the only bright spot in a very dark world so enjoy them.
