Whos using what coilovers and how much do you drive with them. I want to get a set before winter is over, and how much did they cost.

since my stock shocks are gone I'm wrestling with the stock vs bilstein pss9 decision.
tire rack has them for $1345.
surprisingly they haven't gotten much of a following.

First set was Apexi N1's (decent all around set), now I'm running KW V3's and love them. Perfect for everything I do.
From my research I recommend Pss9's for daily and if you want something a bit more serious go for the KW V3's. Call Scott, and he should be able to get you some pretty decent prices. The KW's run a bit over $2k.

Of note I'm also running the T1R half shaft spacers for insurance. $169 from Evasive.

bolton, if you need a new set of OEM's I've still got mine if interested. Only put 12k miles on them, but no tops, would have to use your tops. I also have spring compressors to use. PM me if interested.

Im not looking for crazy upgrade in performance as much as i want to be able to drop the car. If i could get something thats a resonable price and has equale to or little bit better performance than stock that also is reliable.

I was looking for the same i went with springs, I got h&r lowering springs ride is great close to stock on bumpy roads yet stiffer in corners, was a good upgrade for stock shocks. but when i went with koni shocks with the H&R springs the performace was amazing to me. kept the daily driver ability on the not so good ne roads, yet lowered the car with a good look, and better then oem performace total package with shocks and springs was about 750 just springs were 160 if u need to do it over time like i did.

Kyle, I ended up getting the BC Racing coilovers. I got it from a guy whose forum name is rijowysock. He is still active on the forum, but I don't know if he still sells them. Mine were $990 shipped. I love them. I got them more or less to lower the car, too. I don't drive it hard at all. I'm happy with them. Good Luck in your search, Walter

Bilstein PSS9 paid somewhere around 1200 from shox.com. 4-5,000 miles a year. I think they ride great, plenty of adjustments to tailor them to your liking. I would say they ride a little harsher than stock, but not very noticeable.

I use to run BC or Megan coilovers, dont remeber which ones but switch to just springs. I really had no use for coilovers since all I really wanted was a drop like you. To be honest I couldnt be happier with my Skunk2 springs, drop is perfect and ride is better then it was with the coilovers. So instead of throwing out $1000 for something you dont really need spend the $150 on springs and youll be just as happy.
