Default COM at NHMS

The COM Sports Car Club is running a HighPerformance driving School on Sat and Timt trials on Sun. Rain or shine. NHMS is located on Rt 106 in Loudon NH. If anyone wants to watch, they can sign in at the front gate (No addmision fee) and drive to the infield. Park the car and wander around looking at the 110+ cars. There are garages to get out of the rain and a restarant for food. Enjoy!!

Grove, does this happen more during the summer? If so, keep us informed because
I would be interested in going up for this some weekend later on! I can't this weekend.

Yesterday, someone with a white S2k with a black hardtop lost their oil drainplug going into turn 3, then proceeded to drive at speed for the next mile of track until pulling into the pits coating the track with his oil. I couldn't locate the driver to tell him that I had a spare drainplug so I don't know if the engine was toast or not. Car had Mass plates, rollbar and Recaro seats. BTW I had my drainplug come out as I was pulling into a parking space (no harm) I did just come off the highway where I had pushed the car hard . I wonder if this was related to the other car losing his plug on the track?

I'm no mechanic but I don't think think that pushing the car could have anything to do with losing the plug. It much have not been torqued quite right. I feel bad for the driver of the white S - I hope the engine is OK. Turn 3 is slippery enough without oil on the track. I now feel like checking my drain plug this morning.

That was my car . Well, my brother was co-driving at the time that time. Thanks for looking for me to help me out! I probably just missed ya. Was busy running down to NAPA to get some oil and drain plug.

Had DSG take a look at the car once back to the garage and they said "your one lucky sob " . The car is fine now. We got some fresh oil in her and continued our day. Even drove home (2hrs) and no issues. Probably decreased the life expectancy of my motor though...

Just signed up for the Mont Tremblant event and ready to rock and roll! Better make sure I torque that drain plug haha.
