Default Cost of an S in Canada

I was amazed at the MSRP of an S in Canada is $50,600 in Canadian dollars. At the current exchange rate that is over $49,000 in US dollars. Yikes!!!!!! That is a full $15,000 more than the US MSRP. That seems like such a rip off. In addition they have to deal with a $1500 shipping cost and taxes and levies of another $7000 I went through the build your Honda and added nothing to the car and it came out to over $60,000!!!!!! Wow, that is depressing.
I certainly hope I do not breakdown when I visit there this summer, I am sure repairs would be in the same stratosphere.

So I should drive up to Montreal if I decide to sell the S I guess...

No wonder there have been a few posts about buying an S in US returning to Canada.

Holy Smoke!! X-change rate is down to 1.06?!

When I first started going to Montreal, it was like 1.5 - everything seems so cheap up there then...

Yes very expensive on the tariffs as well by sending a US car to Canada. I actually inquired years ago about having a Canada car sent here. My family works for Honda of Canada. I had the opportunity to buy at wholesale but it wasn't worth it after tariffs.

Yep, it just keeps dropping. The US dollar is quite weak on the global economy right now. It was 1.10 last week.
I have never ever remembered the US dollar being so weak.

Yep, great for exports, but not for taking a vacation. Dang, why now? Well, we will have to see where the rate is in July.
