Yeah yeah. I have a leaf blower and a riding tractor with a bagger. Neither do as good a job as a good old rake. especially if the leaves are wet.
I still think the blower is better. It takes a little longer to move the wetter leaves around, but I think it's easier than raking. In fact, when I used the blower the most annoying part to me was raking and bagging the piles I made with the blower.

Just gotta empty the bag a few times. i have a honda muclching bbagging mower works perfect. If I remember right Bass has the same model maybe he will chime in.

as far as the crash on wet leaves, No comment other than if you drive in NE you should know that wet leaves= snow.

next weekend will be raking weekend and NL has one heck of a back pack blower that im gonna borrow again!

as a side note erick - we can load up the truck with your leaves and bring them to the dump on Saturday if you want..

Nah I got those stupid pine needles.
Nothing and I mean nothing works well on em.
you sure don't want to mulch 'em unless you've got 10 tons of lime ready.
Raking is awful, SOoooo blow em away.

Except in Boston where the papers hate them now that a few have been accused of working over the retirement system.
