I believe Steve and Cubby may be secret lovers. Note the heart in Steve's first post, and the romantic dinner offer. I have no proof, I'm just saying...

I think Cubby foreclosed on NL's house giving Steve his life back. Too bad for NL, though.

Steve and I are NOT lovers, .....but I sure am screwed.

 

I'm thinking VTEC has returned to Steve's life. That's even better than NL being foreclosed on. He can make a speedy getaway when need be, but she's still got a home for those Saturday night "date" nights.
