ok guys i wanna buy an exhaust for my car but i dont want it to sound like a weed wacker or like somone droped some m80 in a trash can, it has to sound deep and smooth but be load enough so people look to see what it is. I had a thermal cat back for my 01 prelude and loved it. so now i'm looking to you guys to see whta you have and or like also if you can throw some prices at me so i know what i'm looking at . thanks justin

hey junior, i can be at sunny's after 3 on friday. It will be a nice oppertunity to get cleaned up. Keep me updated on when you're going, there may still be some slick roads...

 

For what it is worth. I have decided to go with with Nuespeed. Their build quality is outstanding, that I can guarantee you. Their exhaust is louder than stock but not the loudest thing out there. I want a nice throaty rumble that is clearly louder and deeper and the Neuspeed makes this music. You can see the exhaust and some of their tip options on their web site. I know one of the s2ki sponsors sells the Neuspeed for a better price than Neuspeed advertises it; I just can't remember who, sorry.

Over the years I have had lots of Neuspeed stuff on my cars. My S2000 has the Neuspeed single piece Shock Tower Brace and I suspect I'm the first in the area to get the Neuspeed X-brace. I sold my Spoon to get the Neuspeed because I do my own oil changes and I was so frustrated with the silly Spoon design.

Well, some people say it is a bit large, but I like it alot. I got the Tanabe Racing Medalion for like $700. It is made at an ISO9001 factory, so the quality is phenominal. Trust me, it definatly turns heads. I put a sound file that I recorded on a short run from within the car. I also put up a few pics for you as well. Enjoy:

I too have seen and heard the Tanabe Racing Medalion, it is louder than the Neuspeed. And those tips are huge and beautiful!

 

I have comptech sounds real nice looks real nice and is pretty expensive about $1200
