What's wrong with storing the car with the nice wheels on it?

Put it on jack stands with no wheels, or just store it on the Advans.

I store mine on the Volks, what are you worried about?

Hmm maybe i should just let it sit on my current wheels. My friend just suggest that its a bad idea. But it would save me some money if i just leave em on. And as far as putting em on jacks, its not good for the suspension.

To be honest, I don't think letting the car sit on the existing WHEELS during
the winter does anything bad. sitting on the existing TIRES is a different
issue, but even that isn't a big issue. Sure the tires can get a flat spot if
they sit all winter, but a little bit of driving after you get it out of storage
eliminates that.

I made 4 small flat platforms that I just rolled the S on to for storage to keep the tires off the concrete. Made them big enough so that I could roll the car about 1/2 turn of the wheel to avoid tire from getting a flat spot.

I'm not sure, but I think the concrete sucking the moisture out the tire might have something to do with it, as well as drying out the tire and cracking. That's why I made them big enough to roll the car 1/2 turn, so I could move it enough to keep it off the same spot the entire winter.
