You can always give Tim the ding guy a call. Unfortunately Ray might be the only person here with enough spare cash to consider him worth it.

I have no problem with Dave's Dent guy .... That was just because it was to far to travel to my shop to earn cash .. lol . It was a joke ... you guys are to much sometimes .

Ha Ha Erick and Steve ... You funny guy .. lol . If I remember Tim gave a discount at group events . He only charged if you guys privately asked him to come to your house . This guy wont leave Maine .. so I fail to see your point ? Or are you looking to just start shit today in Dave's thread ?

Scott, I think it's just a little lighthearted poking.

Tim the dent guy's price was quite reasonable when we saw him at your shop the first time. I think we spent $50.00

If I remember correctly, his "discounted" price at the Nor'Easter was about twice what we paid the first time.

Sorry, but that wasn't a bargain. Rick has since had a dent or two removed by a guy that came to local auto dealers, and it was quite a bit less than what we paid at the Nor'Easter.

Back on topic....Dave, right now no dents to be removed. If we notice any, we'd likely get them taken care of locally, but thanks for organizing this.

You really need learn to take things less seriously. I was just pointing out that Dave's guy is a much better value. I'm not quite sure how that constitutes "looking to start shit".

did you forget your meds again Scott

and if you think the $110.00 Ding Guy rate is "discounted rate" you really should stop sucking the exhaust fumes for lunch

don't forget he charged a whole lot more to go to people's houses -

drive up and see Dave's guy - and then come back and tell me what a REAL discount is -

i am not going to post his prices on line BUT i was so shocked at what he charged me i gave him a $10.00 tip and we all know how cheap i am and the work came out as good if not better than the "dingman"

discount smishcount - don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining -
service guys can say they give a discount all day long and no one would know any better-

it's not like buying a tangible item like say Lebaron parts - one dealership sells them for X and we know that by calling / looking up the price on a website and MY Lebaron parts guy will sell the same part for less because of his "discount" - that i can quantify..

not these "mystery" discounts that i am sure ALL customers get - psst hey buddy don't tell anyone but i'm gonna give you a special discounted price but don't tell anyone

If I remember he had his family with him as it was out of state for him and he had expenses also to be there for us . He was not there for the same reasons . Just as Giles when he goes tuning out of state . There are expenses to cover . Also half the people that set times with him took off and went on drives and messed everything up so he was even lucky if he broke even .. but oh well he was not part of the group or owed anyone anything . He did us a favor as far as I am concerned

and coming from dent removal from Porsche and Lamborghini .. I am sure what ever rate he gave us was a discounted rate .

You brought up Tim , no one else so I dont see why you needed to state it was a much better value ?? People have used Dave's guy before and there is no issue .. Tim did not have to be brought up or thrown under the bus .

mass to CT was a two hour drive and he didn't stay -

heck you would have thought a sponsor of the NE would have discounted his rate to at least what he charged previously given the volume of business and other than lunch and gas what other expenses did he have -

it's a moot point - they guy is long gone and we (Zippy) have found someone better for a lot less
