Default Detailer for hire?

Hey does anybody know any skilled and willing detailer out there who would detail for hire? My BB is in need a polish job. I have light-intermediate swirls. I would do it myself but don't have the equipment nor the garage necessary. Please chime in with quotes if possible thanks!

If you're looking for a reputable detail shop, I've taken all my cars over to Auto Manicures in Maynard and he is fantastic.

Ask for Brian

I would love to learn the ways of detail-dom myself. I even bought the PC with the pads and compound but I'm hesitant to try it out on my S.

He ended up giving my car a once over to remove the swirls last fall. I'm not sure what polisher he used, nor the product (I know it's not an over the shelf product) but it looks great. As far as cost, I have mine done every fall and it costs me right around 100 bucks, but I usually tip him 15 - 20 on top of that.

I just spoke to Brian and he said the job would take 3-4 hours. Doesn't it usually take a full day 7-8 hours? And for $100 (well he quoted me $150 which is reasonable) that sounds like your typical wash and wax cost right? I was looking at a $300+ range. He also said he can hide the swirls but can't remove it. Thanks again!

FWIW to do a neglected berlina paint it will take time. You could easily spend 8 hours on it. If he is using a buffer with a wool pad it will cut down that time quite a bit.As far as cost a good 3 step paint cleansing, polish and seal could run as much as $300 easily.

It all on how much work the paint needs the time needed and the products used. Also you can remove swirls and not hide them, the hide them line makes me think it would be a rush job.
