Default Do Racing chips actually work?

this is a stupid question, but i see these chips on ebay all the time and they claim that the chip will incerase horsepower and torque , i was wondering if anyone had installed a chip on their S, and what were the results.

I think chips make the race to a bigger waistline real short especially ruffled

no

there is no "chip" in the s that you can change (except for the >=07s)

you need a ecu piggy back unit such as the e-manage and if it's tuned by Giles even better
