do you use the "lube"
while changing the fluids yesterday I also did a through out inspection on the car, just to make sure things are in line.
I had one of the techs look at my weather stripping, especially the soft top part, we concluded that they were dry and most likely at some point start to leak, one of the ways as most of you know to protect the seals is to lubricate them.
I've used a "grase" called shin etsu (spelling) from our parts department...great stuff, but expensive, I think retail is about $30, but it will last you a long time. After applying it to all the rubber, I noticed that they became a lot softer all around and surely makes a difference.
Please be carefull and don't use this on your body

Tommi, can we get a good price on that suff from a group buy? I wanted to get some but it is very expensive.
I know its expensive, that's why the parts department only keeps like two in stock, that's all.
I will let you know by weeks end.
You use so little of the giant tube they give you. Maybe we should all chip in, or NES2KO can buy a tube and we can all use it every spring. It would still probably last for years that way.
