don't suppose you own a home and have a mortgage through wells fargo? if so you can get 100 commission free trades every year through their brokerage. highly recommend.

Sorry to hear Lainey. Hope you can hang in there a bit longer and take advantage of the impeding up swing in the market. A lot of it is depressed right now just from what we are seeing in Washington. Once we get new blood in there and reverse some of the regulation we will see businesses spending again. I feel sorry for anyone that just retired or is looking to retire right now.

I am giving my mom the golden handshake next year but at least they were all in on real estate and businesses. They are all paid for so she will get a nice check every month from rent, lease, etc...

For this reason I need to add some real estate to my portfolio. Then again I got another 25 years for retirement.

I don't know George. We had the tech bubble burst of 2000 or 2001, then the nose dive after 9/11, since that time, the stock market is not proving to be a good place to make money. Down about 200 points yesterday and over 450 today. Takes a while to get that back. Looks like all money folks have saved this year is gone. POOF!
