Default Dubs on Defrost?

Hey, just wondering if any of the other s2000 owners that were there are on here? I didn't get any pictures of the NFR one, but the others are posted in here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=16403721e7

It was a little ridiculous, I mean I understand it's a VW show and all, but being that I have probably owned more Volkswagens than these kids can count to, gives me reason enough to go to their shows lol

I think it's kind of strange because everyone would always get that kind of crap from the classic car guys. A "car show" or "cruise-in" would be advertised. 90% would be 60-70's cars, 5% late model domestics... (e.g new mustang, corvettes, challengers), then the rest of us. When when I say "us" I mean like that weird mix of the guys with the lifted trucks, VW's, anything else german, and of course the Japanese cars. And, at least once or twice during a show you'll get the guys who give you that look like... "Why is that car here?". Because we have the same love for things on four wheels as you do... we're just a generation (or two) apart. You'd think the VW guys experienced the same animosity once or twice. They probably have a sticker for it.

Then again.. that one is a VW show. Specifically for VW's...

I missed it this year sadly. 3 years ago I was the only S2000 there and didn't get much attention other than haters. Last year I saw 5 or 6 though.

It's a great show tho, even if VW people do "hate" Hondas. I don't see why some of them have such an issue tho, I'm not a huge VW fan but I don't go around telling everyone their car sucks....ok rant is over.

I hope to go next year tho

I didn't like going to VW shows when I had my R32 lol

It was set up for handling, not parking. Nobody cared enough to give it a second look haha
