Default Dumbest request ever?

I got rid of my hood dampers, and while putting the stock hood prop back in I dropped the plastic clip it clips into, and for some reason just couldn't find it.
It's only $1.51 from Majestic Honda but then they want 5$ handling and 14$ shipping
Anybody out there using hood dampers that has one they don't need?
Hell, I'd rather tape it down then pay 20$ for a plastic clip just on principle.

Dumb request, I know.

This little shitter that should be here, in case I'm not being clear:

No local dealers wayz upz in mainz?

You can probably get the part for $3 at the parts desk instead of paying shipping. Heck, even a stamp is expensive now a days.

There's actually 2 nearby. That's probably what I'll have to do, I just hate having to go in there. If it stops raining I can try and go outside and scour the parking lot again as well, but I just couldn't find the damn thing and had to leave.

The parts guys at my local dealership are cool. They always give me good prices and toss in free washers for oil changes and stuff. you may be pleasantly surprised.

yeah it seems like the engine bay of the S likes to magically eat what you drop in there. i dropped a clip that holds the hood insulation in the engine bay and it never hit the ground.

You know, places like Auto Zone and pep boys have all sorts of little plastic clips in bubble pack. Have you checked them yet?

That part lists for $2.16. Give the dealership a call, have them order it, then show up the next day to get it.
