Mark, sometimes they do take a while to pick up a signal...it just happens. One thing we we like about the GPS is getting from place to place once we reach a destination. You need a car wash, it will find one for you. You want to eat, specify fast food, even Italian, and it will find it for you. I would not be without one now that we have one....

Rick did the route by using Google maps, adding a stop/destination when he wanted turns....He knows the area well, so it didn't take too long...We printed it up, pre drove the route, verified the mileages on each road by the trip odometer, then I typed it up.

How about for you motorcycle folks, when you're behind a car and they
decide to empty the windshield washer reservoir on their windshield!?!?
Do they NOT realize it goes all over the poor guy on the bike behind them????
