Egg nog can be made both ways, with raw or cooked eggs. You can find recipes for both - just google it. Alton Brown has a recipe for both raw and cooked. Or you can go with a soy recipe - call it egg not!

Thomas most commercial eggnog you see at the stores has been pasteurized (ie cooked) so there is no fear –

and as connie mentioned homemade nog can use raw eggs or you can make a custard (cook the eggs)
