Default engine build

ok since i have my engine basically out and have almost 100k on it i was thinking about a rebuild of some sort. I have been thinking about going with a lower compression piston like a je 9:1 with a block gaurd and in the long run some cams. I know i need to get the block sleeved to put the new pistons in but should i get bigger pistons also? do i need rods or are the stock ones ok? anyone do any of this? also what were you estimated costs of the machineing? any ideas or any thing i missed? I am looking to keep the budget kinda low and only looking for about 500-550 hp. I am supercharged with 15 psi of boost and 650 injectors, and e-manage ultimate.

I don't think any of those three things go together in the same sentence:

-low budget
-only
-500-550hp

Your forgiven, Glenn has not been active here on the forum in a long time. He is however active behind the scenes.

TJTURBO could probably offer you some help. you can try to PM him, but he only checks in from time to time. His S is pushing 500 WHP on a turbo.
