pull the radio fuse or just undo the battery cable (Scott's idea) to reset your CEL

as for the screws - just take one to your local hardware store - i'm sure they can match it
Ah....I don't even have one of those screws to take to hardware store to match.

Remember the three pieces of 2 X 10 in front of my garage......one of them snapped and got caught between my tires and the spoiler!

Not good.

Steve, you are not getting it. All those bolts were replaced by a set of (longer) bolts and washers came with the protectors.

I probably threw them away. Now, I have none of them.

Without the protector, I can't use those bolts

What is that website again? Anyone knows?

And yes, I ripped out one of the mounting points.

By the way, Scott did a fantastic job on my Passat. It drives like new! Thanks Scott!

Tried it.

Too long. They are kind of hanging there rubbing the surroundings.

then just bring those to the hardware store and buy shorter bolts with the same threads

sorry thomas - you're right i don't get it - why is it so hard to understand all you need to do is buy smaller bolts??!@!!??!!!

i liked the site - order a bunch of the #13 BUT again if you ripped out the mounting points on the nose - the clips that hold the bolts wont stay in place - so why not use two sided tape for your frt lip??
