GT 5 review by winding road

so erick, you got GT 5 on order yet?


so the G27 wheel looks good.
but any comments out there on which PS3 to get?

I'll probably pick it up. I've been playing Prologue but it kind of sucks with the limited amount of cars in it, never mind the lack of a stock S2000. They have the Amuse S2000, but it's sort of laughable because the thing is insanely fast and has a 7 speed gearbox.

Since I have the Element I carted my stuff to the parents house and put together a simple rig for my Driving Force GT wheel last week:





The rig breaks down into four pieces for storage because otherwise it's a bit unsightly. Two triangles, top board held with four wing nuts, and the bottom section eye hooks. The chair doubles as my gaming chair so it's in the livingroom all the time. I don't care what anyone says, the Civic Si (EP3) seat is super comfy.

Got GT5 on order... Haven't played prologue in a year though...

Little rig I have tucked away in the man cave...

Preorder the Collector's Version. Not sure if it's worth an extra $40.
Looks like I'll be going to home depot to get some PVC pipes! =)

how do you keep the pvc tubes from sliding on the rug?

It's pretty hefty so it doesn't move on it's own but the cross bar on the seat side is set at a height that the chair I use hooks on it to keep it their just in case.
