So Just some follow up:
The car was manufactured in the Suzuka factory.
And I do have a line on a set of 18" rims ... (RO_JAs? Never heard of them personally, anyone have an opinion on this?)
I checked and the spacers were removed. I have heard more than one horror story about that issue on these forums.
