Please don't take this as anything negative on my part. I'm just trying to add to my knowledge base.
When you say "too many", how many we talking about?
And have you been changing your diff fluid at all? How often?

Max............why did you wait for it to blow up. I just hope that you didn't break or damage more than was was......."going".

xviper: He had a whining and such for a while now so he knew it was going to pop! Just a matter of when.

Max: How did it go..........at a light/ during a burn out/ shifting hard? Hell of a bang hu? I remember that sound.

What kind of whining sound? On my car when downshifting from second to first my car makes a whining sound has been from day one so I think it just might be a characteristic of the car's transmission

Hey congradulations!!

I guess you were right about not taking the drive to Fall Colors... We would have been towing you home with Glenns truck (sorry Glenn)

Hey sorry I forgot to call you and Steve back yesterday. I ended up going rock climbing and after that I just forgot, however it was my fault not the wifes... she told me and I forgot. Maybe this Saturday?

Well it goes a little like this. I started with a brake stand (nothing new there) once i took my foot off the break and kept the tires going about half way throgh it snaped and jim like yours i can bearly move the car even in neutral witch makes me lead to belive that the pinion gear and bearing are destroyed.

So i'm taking out the diff tomarrow so then i'll see how bad it realy is. In any case i will getting a new ring and pinion gears also a limited slip hub all aftermarket of course.

I will put up some pics with my crapy camera once i get some

Mine actually moved ok after mine blew up..............I was able to coast down the road to a pull off. As well once stopped we could push it around but with some some "strange" noises.

Though if things have jammed..............the car will really not like to move obviously.
