I believe the old adage "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" probably applies.
looking through the pics though, it really doesn't look that bad to take the rear off since the transaxle assembly is a stressed component through the engine.
My guess would be ~40 hours of labor at 125 an hour so figure 6 grand.
pretty short money in the grand scheme of things.
