Fav BEER?
I am also a seasonal beer drinker but I don't drink as much beer as I used to back in the day.
In the warmer months I drink Lagers and Pilsners. Preferrably imports like Sol, Stella, Sams Summer, Heineken, Becks, etc...
In the colder months I do more Ales, Stouts, and Wheat. Here is where I like to mix it up with micro brews and imports. I like a number of beers from VT, NH and imports such as Bass and Guiness.
Nowadays I am more into Crown & Makers. Not even much of a vodka drinker as I used to be, unless its a martini.
Wines are also gaining on my drinkinig palate as well.

I don't like all that fancy stuff. I will take something simple like:

But, if the bar is too high class to carry PBR, I will take a good ole Bud or a Miller High Life. After all, it is "the champagne of beers".

I don't think I have found a better beer in the NE area than what they brew over at John Harvards. Outside of NE, I found a kicka$$ microbrew up in Portland, OR called "Black Butte Porter". It is impossible to get it here in MA unless I am a distributor.
But if I was to choose off the shelf, I prefer stouts like Guinness, Murphy's and my fave, Beamish. And Smithwicks (pronounced "Smit-icks") is really good as well. Must be my Irish wifey rubbin off on me...
Cheers!
