Default Finally got it done...

I got my windscreen back from Dan, (Macgyver), and I installed it today and did a complete tutorial with pictues as mine is an 04 and no one that I know of has posted instructions for the 04 model. So here it goes!

So then of course I had to play with it when it got dark!

This pic shows the screen lit up yellow to match the car. You can choose any color of the rainbow...whatever you're in the mood for, or you can just set it to slowly cycle through all the colors as you drive down the road!

This pic shows what happens when you hit the breaks!

This pic shows what happens when the car is put in reverse!

This is just a cool pic of my license plate!

I hope you all enjoyed my post as it was a lot of work and a lot of fun! See you all soon!

Josh! It looks great - one thing you may want to keep in mind, with that coil of slack in your trunk, it may rattle a bit - you might want to take up the slack on the coil with a zip-tie or something? Looks like you did a nice clean job of installation though! I can't wait to see it in person this weekend.

I'll have to pay attention to that and see if it does rattle. Didn't notice and noise tonight and I wasn't able to listen to the stareo as I had the battery disconnected and forgot my code for the theft aspect of the stareo. I'll program that in tomorrow! Thanks for the advice! If I do notice a rattle, it will be easy to get to and fix, so no biggy!

Yeah, I think you'll really like the screen on person a lot more! Find and new camera mounting spots. I was thinking maybe still on the secret compartment, just in front of the windscreen??? I'm not sure what I'd use or how it would look when I wasn't using the camera??? Just an idea!

Special Thanks!!!

This is just a shout out to Wayne, (Treedriver), thanks for answering all my questions...couldn't have done it wihtout your help!

Also a special thanks to Dan, (Macgyver), as wihtout your idea, hardwork, and persistance there'd be no such thing as my digital windscreen. Thanks!
