First Pull Over For Tadashi
I was cruising to work today being VERY good for an S2000 just out of the garage and got pulled over by a state trooper. I had my license, reg and insurance card already for him and was expecting the worst...
Turns out that he noticed my missing front plate and was only interested in that, not the slightly over the limit speed I was going. Whew! I was probably the happiest person he's going to pull over all day
Lucky for me I had my story ready that the plate bracket was broken because stupid me parked too close to a curb... blah blah... but here's the plate I'm supposed to have on the car.
Having the plate with me saved me a $50 fine but I guess my luck has run out for the one plate game (my husband's going to tell me "I told you so" about 100 times over the next week) so it looks like poor Tadashi will be forced to have his front license plate put back on
But if the officer had written me up for the speed I was going, plus no front plate, today's little incident could have been MUCH worse than the small yellow warning paper I got
Reading this it may sound funny so for those that don't know - Tadashi is my car's name - I just use that name online because I am the car's slave and must do his bidding... wash me, clean me, drive me hard. Poor Ellen

Rick's been stopped a few times in the S with no front plate. It's never been brought up. His story if needed. "I was in a car show and took the plate off, forgot to put it back on." OR " I had the car covered for the season, the cover didn't fit well with the plate, and I forgot to put it back on." "Hold on, it's in the trunk, I'll get it."

think its in a box somewhere LOL
There was a state trooper stopping everyone at the entrance ramp checking for belts DUI etc... He asked where my front plate was. I told him I didn't like the way the car looked... He didn't really like my answer. Gave me a warning.
I wouldn't care even if I did get a fine. I wouldn't put the front plate on.
