Im going to have an inst for the event. I will "know" when I am ready to run alone. My instructors all had diffrent lines on NHIS and I found some to be better than others.
Although I had to change my line one time to avoid an S2000 that spun right in front of me.

What do you say Glenn, you drive mine, I drive yours, then we will see who is faster

Anyone going to Watkins Glen in May?

Drive within your limits.... don't show off.... you won't win any prizes (much less for hitting a wall)....

Your goal should be to learn to drive smoothly and learn the line (or better still learn how to determine the line).

Yeah, Lime Rock is about learning and becoming one with the car. I won't have to worry about keeping up w/ the other S's.

Thanks all 4 the tips.

PS Bring chocks for the wheels for after the race, keep engine running, don't use e-brake?

When I went to the Glen, I brought along a plastic bin that fit in the truck well perfectly and left it on the paddock area until I left at night. In it, I brought along an extra quart of oil, an extra set of stock brake pads, brake fluid, tire gauge, glass cleaner, shop towels, some tools (socket set, wrenches, torque wrench, screw drivers, etc) and an extra pair of underwear!

Have a blast!

You can also use racing tape which is very easy to remove with no residue - just DO NOT use duct tape...
