Default Flashlight ?

what flashlights are you guys using these days

i've got the old 3 D cell mag light and a bunch of cheap led ones from Home depot but i want something super bright for when i am walking the dog so that people see me

Jeff / Mongo - what do you guys use these days ?

Steve, go to this site for ideas....one of my son's Aric's favorites. He used to be big into flashlights, just ask Lainey or Erick.

I use a Streamlight at work. SUPER bright and rechargable.

What Scott said, those Surefires are nice, just can't justify spending that much on a flashlight.

true but i'd rather spend $100.00 on a flash light so people see me walking the dog at night than $500.00 on my medical deductible when they run us over

Black bear These are a tad on the expensive side but money vs light power and durability is well worth it. I've had no issues with mine, I carry one in my duty bag.

Surefire and streamlight are proven over time the higher the lumen rating the brighter the light is going to be. Don't stray away from the non rechargeable versions, the batteries most of them use now (CR123), are very powerful, and have good life length, and when buying in bulk are pretty cheap. The light I carry on my belt is a modified Nightops gladius that uses these batteries.
