Today I was feeling kind of decided I needed some chicken soup. The local Portuguese restaurant makes a decent chicken soup for cheap money. Had a bowl of that, but still felt hungry.

For $1.50 I ordered a lobster croquette. Tasty, spicy, not too greasy, peppers, onions and tomatoes in it.

What have you tried lately?

I tried that with pesto. Have always been kind of afraid of pesto...not sure why.

Desi, next time you are there, try a crispy or chili duck dish - good stuff

I tried the dumplings in The Dumpling House in Chinatown. I like it, esp the one with crab meat and soup inside the dumpling.
