It's time for spring...

 

it's been snowing for hour here...

 

 

Hey SHRUG, about 2 weeks ago we hade a couple 2-3 days that were in the 40's here. One Saturday while walking in from getting the mail I saw the very begining of my crocuses peaking their little heads up through the soil, I was so happy, now the poor little guys are inder a blanket of snow again...

Family is here, so here we stay.

I like the four seasons, I'd like it better if winter lasted only a month.

 

Well, I'm supposed to pick my parents up today. Their first flight into Bradley has been canceled and their second was/ is delayed from Florida. My wife comes back tomorrow from Jamaica. i got to stay home and take care of the pets.

 

In many ways I'm in the same boat Lainey, hoever, regarding winter, sure I would prefer if it was a tad shorter, but in all honesty, the length is not what really bothers me, what gets to me is the it's not real cold and there is no real snow, but ya can't really do anything outside because it is just cold and crappy enough. To me the perfect winter would start with a blizzard on 12/15, and we would get snow measured in feet not traces and inches until end of February and then it would all go away. I mean if it is going to be cold, then damn it, give me 3+ feet of snow.

 

Yep, it is snowing our way already and looks like it will go into full force around noon. We are expecting 6 to 12 inches on this one.
Please Lord, make it stop and bring on Spring.
