well tackled the front brakes this weekend... so easy... hardest part was picking the pads up from honda(54$)

anyways while i was doing this i thought hmm maybe i should paint the calipers so i went to autozone and bought some duplicolor hightemp red paint(5$ can) and painted them up!

im just not crazy about the results it seems the red calipers are clashing with the amber side markers... wish i had pics to show the results i think when i put my oem ap2 wheels back on in the spring im just going to paint them black and get the little decals

any other opinions on colors for the calipers

 

i would think Silver would look good on black or heck even white with the black s2k decals - as a side note many of us dremmiled the calipers smooth and then used an epoxy - makes for a very nice finish

how did the old pads look

 

the old pads still had plenty of life on them maybe 3/16 of an inch untill they hit that little metal clip but they were starting to squeek so...



maybe white would look ok
that is one color that never crossed my mind!
