Default Frost Warning

Yep looks like I will see frost on the ground when i wake up. Its 42 degrees right now

Went out and covered all the annuals that Rose and I planted this weekend.

Frost is forecast for us up here and I think to the western mountains. If you live in those areas and have annual plants you might want to cover them tonite.

^ I hear that, Rose and I spend a bit on flowers every year. We spent about $50 yesterday on a couple of nice lollipop gerbera daisies. And we have some perrenials that dont like frost it will kill the leaves.

Anyhow I just checked some weather forecast cause im bored

you = frost
jerry = frost
legal bill = frost
daktruckie= freeze
headchef= freeze
nny s2k = freeze
bass= frost advisory
lainey= safe

looks like a widespread frost and freeze tonite.

My father in law was an agricultural school graduate. He had 10 green thumbs which Rick inherited. He lived by the rule of NO planting before Memorial Day. Learned his less VERY early.

Rick has not planted anything yet, all the plants he starts from seed were on the deck in a frame. He brought them all into the house tonight. He works too hard growing these plants to rely on an accurate prediction as far as who will get the frost.

Lainey, I hear ya. Its the same up this way. I always push it and plant a few things early. The big planting will come next weekend.

Glad to hear you dont have anything in as you plant a ton!
