Yea....went to full service once....asked for 3 clicks.....attendent looked at me like I was on crack.
i just have a fear that they'll scratch the car while they try to pump
I had to stop at a full serve once. I told the guy not to top it off because the filler is short and it would overflow.
I should have tried speaking in Arabic because it shot gas all over the side of the car when he of course tried to round it up to the next dollar.
I think he even got some gas on his turban

Guy hoped i wouldn't notice... "Are going to clean that off??"
I'm on my 4th gas cap. Each and every time I start to have the resistance problems and the cap starts clicking before the cap is on tight I mention it to my dealer and they give me a new cap.
I understand Honda has a TSB on the filler neck, however, I have found not all caps are created equal, and not all caps last the same length of time. For me though, no worries, extended warranty is still covering my free caps whenever I need one.
The gripping the cap on the outer edge will indeed help and I have done it many a times, but if a cap that has always worked fine is now starting to cause problems, I would say it is time to replace it.

I got a similar response there once when I popped the fuel door and I asked he made sure it clicked a few more times after he put the cap on and closed the fuel door.
