with you Bobby!
It was a great event, and great people to spend the afternoon and early evening with. What more could a guy ask for? I was really impressed with the roads and the event in general. Everything went very smoothly.
Id also like to thank George for the organizing. And thanks everyone for waiting for us when we were at the back of the pack stuck at lights etc. It was also great to meet up with those ive met already, and meet a bunch of new faces. Now im dying to do another S meet soon!

Yeah it was awesome. Next year we will start up in Pomfret at the Sharpe Hill Vineyards and work our way down toward Stonington.

Cool

Bridgit and I had an awesome time! Some familiar faces from the Mohawk drive and a lot of new ones! I noticed the cracked bracket at 7am, washed the car, drove around milford getting "NO's" from everyone with welding equipment. At 8:30 I decided to un-supercharge my S. I wasnt about to miss this even after we had been looking forward to it for over so long.

I must say that after about an hour of driving the car un-supercharged, it felt awesome! The initial shock of getting on the freeway and not having that neck snapping acceleration in first gear was ok, but I actually enjoy the car being NA. I love hearing VTEC kicking in and it made me miss my 12:1 all motor integra very much.

The drive home was awesome! Besides the fact that it was 4 silver S2000's and the black sheep of the group, Bridgit and I in the Black S. We were like a highway team.

And that idiot in the red early 90 grand prix was....well an idiot! He had a very muscular arm which he hung out the window.

After we got home, we took a quick nap, filled up with gas, and headed to Danbury where a friend was having a lakeside party. What an action packed day!!!

Can't wait to do more S2000 events! We should have the black and white film from the mohawk drive developed this week, as well as send the new black and white film in to get developed.

Thanks again for an awesome time! Thanks George for organizing such an event! Next time, I promise to discover cracked brakets at least the night before!

ps. I was able to see the difference of two evenly matched S2000's on the freeway, one with the top up, and one with the top down. Bobby walked away from me on the ride home!!!

oh and by the way......GET OFF THE GRASS!!!! GET OFF THE GRASSSSSS!!!

I was trying to figure out what matix stood for.....is it your last name or is it your dj name? Hey the next time you are doing a party, let me know! I would love to come out and hear you spin. BTW, if you get that bracket fixed I will let you take my evo out for a spin if you let me do the same with your s2000

yes, like everyone else said, I too enjoyed the day. Krista enjoyed it herself (she started with some scepticism) as well and looks forward to another drive.

What was really cool about this meet/ drive was there was about 12-14 cars driving in a line when usually you see drives with 4-6 cars. We made a big statement.

yup, matix is my nick name, which kind of evolved into my dj name. It's pronounced "matt-ix". A lot of people see it and say matrix. haha anyway yeah i'll let you know if I'm playing anywhere around here. I'm trying to setup a residency at this place called "rain" in south norwalk. I've got a lot of hobbies and not a lot of time, so we'll see what happens.

And as for the bracket getting fixed, i'll be more than happy to let you take the supercharged S for a spin in exchange for a spin in the Evo. Normally I wouldnt do that, but since you own an S2000, i'll make an exception

speaking of which, time to call comptech! ....wait a sec, its only 9am EST...those guys wont be at work for at least another 4 hours......DAMN!

Yeah, i loved the looks that we got as the Harley guys went by us going It was too funny!

How about that group of riced out cars and bikes that were parked on the left (i think that was rte 244?)
They were all staring wondery eyed

And George, how about that dear and her cub that just jolted across the street in front of you at that stop-sign Anyone else see that? I was 2nd in line behind George at that time. I had never seen deer in browd daylight before!

Maybe you are Thomas.

I didn't see any of us old folks putting up our tops for the ride home on Saturday.

It was good to see you again!

For the record, Bridgit IS my girlfriend now. The mohawk trail drive was a test run which went awesome! She loves cars just as much as I do, so we get along REAL well!

Speaking of which, we were watching the Touring GT and Speed GT races on speedvision Sunday, and the next round is at Limerock Raceway in CT. She was dumbfounded that i've never been to Limerock so shes taking me to see the races THIS SATURDAY!

http://www.speedvisionwc.com/2005/gt-standings.html

Those are the two races that are going on! The realtime Acura's, Mazda Speed 6's, bimmerworld 3-series, all sorts of awesome cars battling it out!

Could this be a spur of the moment S2000 even?

If anyone wants to go here is the website for the track.
