Get yer snowies on!
^^^ Me too. Just for the sake of getting it done, mostly. I am not too worried about crashing at this point. I am a firm believer that the car will not magically slide off the road unless I am driving unreasonably, which I don't in these temps.

Both front and rear. The Toyota Highlander will need a new set next year as well.
I hope?
We get 15-17 on rears and double that on the front. Next time around we'll need both.
Hi Lainey, hard to tell; this is the first change out ever and I don't track winter vs summer driving. The S has a total of about 40,100 miles on it and it certainly would be mostly summer driving. For the Toyota, I think this is the second round of tires (all season) and she has about 85K miles on her.

Had the snow tires put on the S just this Saturday. The summer tires were feeling a little dicey and I thought it was just the temp and road conditions. Turns out I need new summer tires.
I know exactly what you're talking about. Rain, of course, is dangerous because of hydroplaning, and the cold is dangerous because it turns those summer tires (especially Bridgestones) into rolling bricks.
Hope all's well. Best wishes.
