Poor kids. I've seen some news segments about "Kids of the recession." It's tough on many families.

We grew up with few extras and a lot of "hand me down" clothing. However, we always had food (enough for a friend to stay to supper) and didn't wonder where we would sleep at night.

ya know i lean to the right when it comes to lazy people and i know there are times when some folks need a helping hand but i never thought about the impact on the kids when it comes to this

the show showed one lady and her kids and she works at Disney AND she works at walmart and still she can't afford an apartment for her kids

First they need to leave broke ass CA. And they want the rest of the contry to be more like Cali. I bet the illigals have more benifits than that poor woman and her kids ....

I am so sick of how F'dup the US is . We need to take care of our own first .

sadly I don't think it's just Cali

how can a single mom with no skills and who works are walmart part time and McDonald's part time afford an apartment for her and her kids

one lady calcuated that between the car insuance, food, roof - she'd need to make 3k a month to afford an apartment -

they asked the kids why they love America and they said at least they get a meal at school in this country where they would starve in other countries

Its not ... But to be proclaimed the richest state in the US and be broke ?? and then Obuma listens to Polisi and her failed state policys and thinks they are good ideas for the whole country ...

Nevermind , I dont even want to get started.

For what they pay in OC for a hotel will get them a apartment in Manchester No Problem. And jobs to boot
