Immigration.....

 

That was indeed a great article and completely sumed up my views on illegal immigration. I could have written pages of text on my views and not have summed it up as clearly and rationaly as that was.

I am also very proud to point out that May 1st is not only Law Day, but Jeffrey Jr.'s birthday! Coincidence? I think not! He turned 2 yesterday.

Good article and points well taken. I just don't think this country has the bawls to enforce those immigration laws to a T. Also its hard for me to fault the illegals for coming here illegally. It is a PITA to get citizenship.

I bet a majority participating in the rallies are citizens but relate to the immigration gap due to them either be first generation or recently made US citizens. At least that is what I see around here. Could be different in other parts of the country.

 

There comes a point when the country is basicly full. Even though we are the "land of plenty" we are running out of room, resources and jobs. I belive there is a reason for it being so tough to enter legaly now. Let's work on providing for those that are here legally now, and go from there. I see no point in letting the flood gates open and making the entire country a slum due to over stretched resources. I don't see millions flocking to Russia because their resources are stretched. We are at that point, but we still have room to react before letting too many people in drags the whole place into the toilet.

And, I agree that this country doesn't have the cojones to do what is needed to stop this downward spiral. To many bleeding hearts and people who are too PC to be able to differentiate between immigrants and ILLEGAL immigrants.

 

Maybe we can give Nebraska to the illegals?
