This game is addictive... worse than drugs.
What are some of your best rides thus far? I won a Cadillac Cien with 750 HP stock, boosted to 940 HP w/ only a $14k supercharger.
The other is a full race spec Toyota 4wd prototype - this is a mean-looking 1/3 suv, 1/3 rally car, and 1/3 bat-out-of-hell! Those 2 cars cause havoc in license a races.
Lainey, Rick now has a mistrees that you have to contend with.

Since then I haven't done much - I did completely deck out a Ford GT (hits over 240mph on the highspeed run!) though.
Well, damnit... I went out and bought this this morning after reading some reviews and all these posts. Man, I'm gonna waste a lot of time with this. I'm glad I'm not in school anymore, or I'd never pass.
So far this is amazing! Makes me wish I had the S-02s on!

I think it's harmless, but from what you guys are saying I may never see him again once he gets going on that game.
Woohoo!! Won a full race spec 350Z! I'd never like that car so I sold it immediately for a cool $350k. My bankroll is growing pretty quickly.
Bargain news: in case you guys haven't found it yet, there is a tuner car by HP-something (sp?). It is a 500HP+ VW R32 for only a little over $30k.

I will say that I'm having a difficult time threshold breaking, the game seems to be more sensitive about this.....I've been driving a lightly modded NSX..
I get a much better feel for chassis dynamics over GT3. It is really amazing what these designers can do with steering reaction and visual cues to simulate weight transfer.
I'm not too sure about the AI though....I have to laugh, I took an inside line on an opponent and spun him off track......a few seconds later he reentered the track and T-boned me! I play dirty....they play dirty....
Maybe it is just the fact that I am using the Logitech steering wheel, but I found trail braking at near limit, even with FR and MR cars, to be very stable and controllable. As long as I don't absolutely slam on the brake while the car is already near its lateral threshold, the car stays planted. It is almost unrealistic because I don't think I can get away with it in real life. I remember using controller on GT3, trail-braking with FR/MR cars was nearly impossible
Also with the steering wheel, understeering in FF and AWD becomes a big hurdle in tight turns. The steering wheel's small size and its 810 degree lock-to-lock are the main cause for this.
I absolutely agree with you on the AI though. Man... do they play dirty, esp. on city tracks. They like to go off the driving line in order to jimmy themselves into the inside lane and then knock/bump/slam you to the outside wall or gravel.
Like you, I return the favor every chance I get.
