hell no just had to pay a 500$ deductible to fix one of them and its still not completey fixed. The headlight was full of water to begin with which blew out the bulbs and so on...the body shop replaced the headlight assembly but the assembly didnt come with a new electronic box to power the hid so they swapped my old one from the waterlogged headlight. The running light which is the hid wont come on so they ordered a new light bulb (146$). Still didnt work and now they dont wanna just order the box they want me to schedule an appt through honda to get it diagnosed. But the insurnace said i could just have honda fax them the bill.bullshit

ne ways should have listend to my father when i bought the vinyles .But i always do the opposite of what he says When i tell him he is goin to say i told u so!

I'll toss my two cents into this... as I had these "Stonegaurd" Headlight protectors on my first set of headlights.

When these first came out... I jumped on the band wagon and purchased and installed them on my headlights. Within 2-3 weeks, my headlight "covers" started to craze... small cracks appeared all over the headlight.

I met the manufacturers rep of Stonegaurd at S2kDays and he said to go back to Honda and file a defect claim under warrantee. I did, and I got a new set of headlights out of it. Well, not too long after that, I purchased a set of JDM Headlights which came with the Stonegaurd already on them. And of course shortly after these started to craze also. But since I was able to catch it early enough... I removed the "Stonegaurd" and now my headlight "eyelids" are covering up where the crazing is.

Is the Stonegaurd worth it? Not to me. Is buying a new headlight out of warrantee? Possibly, because they can be found on Ebay for fairly cheap (~$100 each for a '00-'03... much cheaper than the JDM's I have).

Again... Just my two cents.

To answer your original question.

Installing these are no different than applying vinyl to your car.

Clean surface

Lift an edge on the vinyl and fold back protective plastic.

Align vinyl to the headlight and adhere exposed corner.

Slowly puck back protective plastic of vinyl making sure that the vinyl is evenly applied to the headlight and smooth out any bubbles if they appear.

If small bubbles are left behind when you are done. They will slowly disappear in sunlight.

As parents, we enjoy the opportunity to say "I told you so." It's our reward for dealing with teenagers.
