Welcome to NE. The New England region,SCCA has a very active auto-x series. They plus other clubs use the old Fort Devens in Mass. for a lot of their events. If you have a rollbar in your car you can run with the COM Sports Car Club. They do a high performance driving school and timetrials (high speed) at various roadracing tracks throughout the upper East Coast and Canada. Much more fun than Auto-Xing.
1 no trailer to drag the Hoosiers
2 lots of activities on the weekends now since we have a little racer in the family
If there were any events within 20-25 miles then I know I could steal away for at least 5 to meet the season minimum classification

Track days are fun, but it's the AutoX that teaches you control of the car. I'm not opposed but I think everyone should go through a season of AutoX with their car before tracking it, unless you have real racing experience.
Rollbar is planned, after a couple of other mods. First I have to get the car up to spec.

Nice, I live in Stonington (4 miles West). I volunteer at the Westerly Ambulance Corps, so I spend a lot of time in town. Welcome to the area.
