WOW I have started quite the controversy.

What are the privileges of "owner" status or is it the personal satisfaction of having it posted next to your name on this board?

Always good to see a new owner around. Here's my .02, don't drive in the rain with the S02s

I learned the hard way.

Jam,
No controversy, just a couple of people providing opinions. It is just in good fun and not meant to harm anybody. If you want to see some controversy do a search on this subject and read some of the other threads. This is a very diverse forum so you will have people with a difference of opinion, as long as people understand that you cannot take it serious then no harm done.

In one thread that was discussing a different subject, I made my point and others made theirs. In the end what they said made sense, so it turned out to be a very enlightening experience.

Now back to the question at hand. Having owner next to your name actually does not give much more then the satisfaction of being recognized as an S2000 owner. I believe certain sponsors offer discounts on their products as well, I could be wrong on that. I am sure someone will help me out in this area. I also sometimes PM owner's when I am in their area (local area or some other state) and see if they would like to get together for a coffee or a beverage.

Please let us know if we can help you in any way. Wow! no smilies in this entire post.

Good man Max. Just shores up my theory that you are a good body technician simply because you have the requisite pictures of naked women on your tool box. I don't think I could trust a mechanic who didn't have naked women around the shop.
