Default Help

Hey guys, I have already made a post in "under the hood section" no luck yet, I have a 03 S. After putting new tires on the car has developed a shake/vibration. Between 60-80 today I noticed that while on 5th my shift knob was shaking ALOT but the car was riding smooth. Ive bought half shaft spacers since the car is lowered. Also changed the tires and balanced them 3 times.... Any input or maybe I can meet with someone to inspect my car. I have no problem driving. Im in Bridgeport CT, Thanks in advance.

Motor mount? Typically rip on the passenger side. Will be wet if it happened recently.

shake after new tires? did your aftermarket rims have hubcentric rings on them?? maybe the installer forgot to put them back on

are the tires bad?? could be one bad tire slipped a belt or something - try posting in ethe tire and wheel section

If you can't find anything obvious, try swapping wheels and tires with another car and see if it goes away. Kind of a PITA, but it should only take an hour to swap, test drive, and then swap back. Then you'll know if it is the wheels or tires without spending any $$. If it does go away with the wheel and tire swap, swap back one wheel at a time and go for another test to find the one that is bad.
