Default help me with my math

how do I get a ticket for going 50+ in a 35 when the car can't do more than 37 in first gear? I pulled onto a 2 lane road today and hit VTEC in first gear. Right as I come around the corner and shift to second there is a statie on detail yelling at me to pull over. So I pull over, shut off the car and wait for him. He makes some comment like " what the hurry this morning Mario Andretti" which I don't appreciate. And I tell him that I just pulled onto the road and had to build up speed as an SUV in the other lane wanted to change to my lane as he was approaching the detail. He takes my license and reg and walks away. Comes back and tells me I gave him the wrong answer and I should have said that I didn't realize I was speeding and that I was sorry yada yada. This is exactly what I would have said had I been speeding. So I get a $200 ticket. Ticket reads 50+ in a 35 by way of estimation. What a crock!

if it's just estimated, just go fight it. I beat a similar ticket.

I don't think he likes the sound of VTEC in the morning.

I was thinking the exact same thing as I was waiting for him to deliver my ticket...if I was in the Audi I would have been hosed.

Owners Manual?

Helms manual?

I guess when you question the officer...you have to ask him what he heard. (gear changes etc)
