I have a set of new S02's for the rear that's already mounted on the OEM rims. PM me if you're interested
Town Fair Tire in Shrewsbury had a pair of s-02 for the front. When I asked about them, the guy said he'd wholesale them to me if I wanted them.....I'm sure they are still there. Want me to call them? At some point I'm going back over there to get an alignment on the Touareg......

Ask Scott about the Falken tires he sold me, they are the best I have ever driven on (S02 & S03).

25k on S02's? Maybe on the fronts if you were driving all highway. I don't see how a performance tire can last 25k in the rear. Maybe less performance is worth the increased tread life? I think the Toyo's last pretty well.

Cant get the Falken in a 245 -50-16 for the rear . I can get it in a 225 but that would not be the correct setup.

I did get a price on S02's $770 mounted and balanced .

Let me know

Oh, sorry for hijacking this.

Could you quote me the replacement cost for my front tires. I meant of course, mounted and balanced by the one and only "twiztid"!

After reading this post, may I suggest getting a complete 4 wheel alignment? The wear rate you report is excessive and absent some defect, is not the fault of the tires. Many people report doubling or tripling the mileage between tire changes after gettiing a good 4 wheel alignment.
