Yeah I was just going to say, that hurricane looks menacing. If it's going to be saturday, try to let me know ASAP because I will need to request some time off.

I just watched the Weather Channel. It does not look good either way. Right now, even a miss would still wreck the day for fishing purposes. I'll post up if I hear any change in the forecast.

Here is the marine forecast for Saturday:

Sat...W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas around
7 ft...Subsiding to 5 ft in the afternoon. A chance of rain in
the morning.

 

I've been at sea in a hurricane and it was no fun even on an 1100+ foot long ship!

There isn't really a chance of this thing missing us so wide that we would get decent seas so I'm betting it's a no-go this weekend unless it passes by fast enough.
